Abram Wilks, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups with a wide variety of presenting concerns.  I have experience working in outpatient settings, residential treatment programs, psychiatric rehabilitation centers, and as an adjunct professor for the University of Missouri.

I am passionate about helping others in learning to cope with life’s challenges, manage mental health issues, and achieve their life goals.  I draw from an eclectic knowledge base and experiential understanding of several evidence based treatment modalities including, but not limited to: Mindfulness based CBT and stress reduction, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Psychodynamic, Solution Focused, and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
