I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Missouri, providing individual psychotherapy to clients ages 18 and up. I draw upon a wide range of treatment methodologies in my work, including psychodynamic, interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic approaches. I believe that each person is an expert of their own experience, and I view therapy as a collaborative process between the client and therapist in working towards personal growth and development within a safe and supportive environment. I also have expertise in working with college students, and I have trained at the counseling centers at DePaul University in Chicago, Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, and at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
I have worked with a wide range of presenting issues, including:
- Adjustment Disorders
- Grief and Loss
- Abuse and Trauma
- Family-of-Origin Issues
- Relationship Issues
- Racial/Ethnic Identity
- LGBTQ Issues
